Paizo, Inc. will release the Pathfinder 2E: Monster Core Remastered, an updated RPG core rulebook, into retail on March 27, 2024.
The Monster Core Remastered was announced in April 2023 as part of Paizo's Pathfinder 2E Remaster Project (see "'Pathfinder 2E Remaster' Project"). This book will arrive as a 376-page hardcover with over 400 individual monster writeups. It will also feature eight new dragons for players to interact with, including the fortune dragon, the adamantine dragon, the mirage dragon, and the diabolic dragon, as well as creatures drawn from the Lost Omens setting, like sinspawn and proteans. The book also contains templates that allow players to create their own monsters, and guidelines for using monster statistics.
The new core book has been updated to integrate four years worth of Pathfinder 2E errata, and is fully compatible with other Pathfinder 2E books. Monster Core Remastered is published under the ORC license (see " Paizo Leads Game Company Revolt"), which allows GMs and players to produce their own creations for the Pathfinder 2E RPG. There will be three different covers available for this book: the standard edition, a sketch edition, and a special edition. The standard and sketch editions will retail for $59.99 and the special edition, which is bound in a faux leather cover with metallic debossed cover elements, will retail for $79.99.
