Forgotten Circles was first released back in 2018 for the first edition of Gloomhaven (see "'Gloomhaven' Expansion"). The new edition features 20 new scenarios that occur after the events of the original Gloomhaven campaign. These event revolve around the Aesther Diviner character class, who is attempting to stop an approaching calamity. This expansion offers players seven new monster types (including three new bosses) to battle and 14 new items.
