Crystal Dynamics announced Tomb Raider: Shadows of Truth, a new RPG developed by Evil Hat Productions.
The new officially-licensed RPG is based on the Crystal Dynamics version of Lara Croft, where players become Truth Seekers that seek out artifacts in an effort to prevent their theft. Players will race through abandoned tombs, perform death defying acts, and try to save ancient knowledge from ending up in the wrong hands. The game engine runs on D6 dice, and is a new take on the Powered by the Apocalypse system, which features a character creation process that allows players to build Hunters, Changed, Companions, and Crafters.
The rulebook will come as a 8.5" by 11" full-color hardcover book. The game is currently entering a playtest phase, and more information on the book will be announced later on.
