In this game, designed by Fabien Gridel, players will take control of a civilization and attempt to lead it into prosperity. Players will take actions to research new technologies, and try to build up their Science, Military strength, Spirituality, Culture and Industrialization. They will also create Philosophers to stay on the cutting edge of thought, and use their Builders to assemble wonders that will stand the test of time.
The game features simultaneous play, where each phase is played at the same time for all players in the game. This cuts the play time of this civilization builder down significantly, allowing the game to be played in less than 90 minutes. It also features 2000 combinations of Challenges and Battles, so that no two games will be the same.
Path of Civilization is for one to five players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 20 to 100 minutes. It will retail for $91.99.
