The Kirin is a rare new creature that has the power to control lightning. It is a new five-star mega boss enemy box, and comes with a quest book that offers multiple arena quests that can be played as a single session or a campaign. The Kirin's toughness can also be scaled to make it a lesser or greater challenge for players.
The game box comes with a Kirin miniature, 160+ cards, a rulebook/quest book, and tokens. This expansion, plus the core game, support one to four players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 60-90 minutes. It will retail for $54.99.
Steamforged Games also recently partnered with Kobold Press to produce Tales of the Valiant Starter Set (see "Partner Up").
