DC Comics is collecting the full run of James Tynion IV’s The Joker in a single volume for the first time. The Joker by James Tynion IV Compendium will include The Joker #1-15, The Joker 2021 Annual #1, Batman: The Joker War Zone #1, and Batman #100, featuring art by Guillem March, Francesco Francavilla, Giuseppe Camuncoli, and others. The 488-page paperback will be released on September 10, 2024, with an MSRP of $59.99.
Tynion’s take on The Joker was one of DC’s Infinite Frontier storylines, which launched in March 2021 (see “DC Announces ‘Infinite Frontier’ to Follow ‘Future State’”), and it was one of the titles for which he won the 2022 Eisner Award for Best Writer. The series was previously collected as three hardcover volumes, the first of which made it into BookScan’s Superhero Top 20 chart (see “November 2021 NPD BookScan”).
