Portal Games will launch a new trade edition of Resurgence and a new expansion for Neuroshima Hex at Essen Spiel this fall.
Resurgence, which was originally released as a Kickstarter project By Half-Kingdom Games, was designed by Ukrainian designer Stan Kordonskiy (Endless Winter). Set in an alternate 20th-century timeline post-nuclear setting of Neuroshima, this new edition has a rewritten rulebook with small balance tweaks and enhancements for better clarity and accessibility, and new cover art.
Neuroshima Hex: Desert Tribes, the 18th expansion in the series, will add a new tactical layer with "Hide" and "Ambush" mechanics, which give gameplay greater unpredictability and strategic depth.
