In Familiars and Foes, the Good Witches and Wizards of Joralee have been kidnapped their Familiars must work together to save them from the Foes. Players will take on the roles of Earth, Wind, Fire, Air, or Aether Elementals and progress through four waves of Foes. They can choose to perform one of three actions on their turn (make a physical attack, cast a spell, or use an artifact), and whether or not this action succeeds is dependent on a dice roll or coin flip.
As they battle the Foes, the challenge levels increase. The Familiars will have to rely on their special abilities, team attacks, and some of the rewards earned by beating the Foes to help save their Witch or Wizard counterparts. The game is for one to five players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 20-30 minutes.
