In this game, designed by Mael Brunet and Julien Chaput, players assume the roles of either a Ironclad settlers or the Woodwalkers and battle over control of the land for Larimor Crystals, which are scattered throughout the mountains and forests of Ironwood. Each player will alternate playing a total of three faction-specific cards each round that help position their troops, initiate combat, extract crystals, create passive effects, and more. The two faction decks used to power the action on the board are asymmetric and feature different play styles and victory conditions. The game also contains rules for a solo mode.
Ironwood is for one to two players, ages 12 and up, and plays in 30-60 minutes.
Mindclash Games also released Septima, a witchcraft strategy game (see "'Septima'").
