FanRoll by Metallic Dice Games reveals three new sets of D&D 50th Anniversary dice, which will hit retail on August 15, 2024.
The D&D 50th Anniversary dice lines are part of FanRoll's new D&D licensing agreement (see "FanRoll Licenses 'Dungeons & Dragons'"). The three sets pay homage to the dice sets released for the original Dungeons & Dragons Holmes module and rules set, produced from 1975-1980. The first set, Retro Holmes Replica, offers players dice that are as close to the original 70s set as possible, even down to the unpainted numbers (set includes a crayon to color them in).
The second set, Modern Holmes Inspired, is a set that adds unique effects to the original Holmes dice to spice them up a little for modern times. This set is also hand-polished. Finally, the third set is a 10-die set that includes both the Retro Holmes Replica and Modern Holmes Inspired sets. The five dice sets will retail for $19.99 each and the 10-dice set will retail for $49.99.
