Osprey Games will release War Story: Occupied France, a new narrative board game set in WWII, into retail on October 8, 2024.
In War Story: Occupied France, by Dave Neale and David Thompson with art by Kwanchai Moriya, players take on the roles of covert operatives in Nazi-occupied France. Their goal is to cooperative thwart the plans of the infamous German officer Heidenreich and prevent the systematic destruction of French Resistance forces in Morette. Players will run through story missions and use the specialties of their agents to find information, enlist allies, and obtain weaponry. They will then engage the German forces on tactical encounter in life or death struggles to defeat the enemy.
This game is for one to six players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 60-90 minutes. It will retail for $55.00.
Osprey Games will release Katmai: The Bears of Brook River, a new card game by Peter Ridgeway with illustrations by Tom Lopez (see "'Katmai: The Bears of Brook River'").
