In this game, designed by Gray Baker, players will take on the roles of Potion Makers looking to concoct a few new brews to increase their powers and fulfill patrons' orders. They will be tasked with gathering resources from the forest, increasing their knowledge of various potion types, and going to the market to collect and trade goods. Once they have the right resources, they can mix up potions that can give them unique powers or be sold to travelers who come to the town.
This game utilizes a simultaneous action selection mechanism where understanding opponents' goals in each of the eight rounds of play can provide an advantage. The player with the most prestige after eight rounds wins the game. Potions of Azerland is for one to four players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 60-90 minutes. It will retail for $50.00.
