Marvel is bringing back the Doom 2099 saga, which ran from 1993 to 1996, in a new hardcover omnibus that collects the entire story in a single volume. When Victor Von Doom arrives in the year 2099 with the intention of reclaiming Latveria and then taking over America, the last thing he expects is to see his foes the Fantastic Four in the future as well. But that’s what happens in this universe-bending story that was started by John Francis Moore and finished by Warren Ellis. The omnibus collects Doom 2099 (1993) #1-44, Fantastic Four 2099 (1996) #1-8, 2099 A.D. Apocalypse (1995) #1, Fantastic Four (1961) #413, and material from 2099 Unlimited (1993) #5-8 and 2099 Special: World of Doom (1995) #1. In addition to Moore and Ellis, contributing writers include Ernie Colón, Peter David, Tom DeFalco, Karl Kesel, Terry Kavanagh, and Ben Raab. The artists in the book include Pat Broderick, Colón, Enrique Alcatena, David Klein, John Royle, Steve Pugh, Mark Buckingham, Ashley Wood, John Buscema, Jeff Lafferty, Rick Leonardi, Matt Ryan, Pasqual Ferry, and Paul Ryan.

The 1,448-page omnibus will be published on May 6, 2025, with a main cover by Pat Broderick and a direct market exclusive cover by Rick Leonardi. MSRP is $150.00.

The movie Fantastic Four: First Steps is slated for release on July 25, 2025 (see “Marvel Movie News”).
