Goodman Games will release its two new versions of Grimtooth’s Traps, for 5E and for Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG, later this month. Goodman licensed Grimtooth’s Traps, originally published by Flying Buffalo, from Rebellion Unplugged and ran a crowdfunding campaign late last year, which raised $203,426 from 3,608 backers. Now the books are coming to trade.
Both versions of Dungeon Crawl Classics: Original Adventures Reincarnated #8 Grimtooth’s Old School Traps include 150+ classic traps, with delver dicers, character crushers, adventurer anxieties, minion munchers, hero haranguers, and more to protect dungeon treasures, all crafted by the Trap Master troll himself. The books also include essays from industry luminaries recounting the impacts of these traps on both characters and the game industry over the years. Rules in the two volumes are fully developed for 5E, or for Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG.
The 150-page hardcovers each carry a $49.99 MSRP; street date is November 27.
