Dark Horse Comics has announced it will publish Cat + Crazy by Wataru Nadatani, the creator of the Harvey-nominated Cat + Gamer manga. Cat + Crazy stars teenager Kensuke Fuji, who loves cats but can’t have one because his whole family is allergic. His life changes when he meets the Ultimate Cat Whisperer and sets out to learn the Cat Fist Way and all that follows. The series, which Nadatani completed just before launching Cat + Gamer, is complete in six volumes, and it will have the same localization team as Cat + Gamer, translator Zack Davisson and letterer Susie Lee. Dark Horse will release the first volume of Cat + Crazy on June 24, 2025, as a 168-page paperback with an MSRP of $12.99.
Dark Horse launched Cat + Gamer in 2022 (see “Dark Horse to Publish ‘Cat + Gamer’ Manga”), and it was nominated for Harvey Awards in 2022 and 2023.
