Games Workshop will release Battalion Box: Empire of Man, for Warhammer: The Old World, into retail in 2025.
The Empire of Man faction forces consists of an army fielded from an alliance of city-states. Their purpose is to battle back the hordes of Chaos warriors, Orcs, and Beastmen that raid their borders. The Battalion Box gets players started on that task by offering them 61 miniatures to build, paint, and field. This set features 30 State Missile Troops, 30 State Troops, and a Steam Tank. It also comes with two transfer sheets with 290 transfers.
This force will also have a new Arcane Journal: Empire of Man headed its way. The 48-page rulebook contains background on the Empire and rules for the City-state of Nuln and the Knightly Order of the Empire armies. Games Workshop also announced Gloomspite Gitz Gitmob, a new Army Set for Warhammer Age of Sigmar, which will head to preorder soon (see "New 'Warhammer Age of Sigmar' Boxed Set").
