Free League Publishing will release a pair of new supplements for its Lord of the Rings RPGs, The One Ring and The Lord of the Rings Roleplaying (5E), in April. They are set in the twilight of the Third Age, when three realms of the West-elves remain in Middle-earth as Sauron gathers strength to bring war to Middle-earth once again. They will bear different titles: Realms of the Three Rings, for The One Ring RPG; and Keepers of the Elven-Rings, for The Lord of the Rings Roleplaying.
Content for the volumes includes descriptions of the realms of Lorien, Rivendell and Lindon and those who dwell there; details about Sauron’s plans against he Immortal folk, including events, Adversaries, and Lore-master characters; info on 12 sites of interest from both the LotR novels and some created specifically for the game; and rules to play High Elves of Rivendell and Elves of Lorien, with guidelines to create Elf-lords, particularly suited for solo play in The One Ring, and for epic level play up to level 20 for The Lord of the Rings Roleplaying.
Both volumes will be illustrated hardcovers at $39.99 MSRPs, to be released on April 22.
