Mad Cave will release a graphic novel for younger readers tied to Moana 2 under its Papercutz imprint next summer, the company announced.  The recently released Moana 2 film has been a box office hit, grossing $337.5 million in North America and $717 million globally through last weekend, its third in theaters. 

The New Adventures of: Moana 2 Vol 1: Born to Voyage, an 80-page volume for ages 8-12, tells the story of Moana’s voyages with her crew, Pua and Heihei, in search of new islands.  She faces challenges, including the separation from her family, especially her little sister, Simea, but perseveres and does her best each day. 

The New Adventures of: Moana 2 Vol 1: Born to Voyage will be released on July 15, 2025, at $14.99 MSRP in hardcover and $9.99 in paperback.
