Kingswood Games has pushed back their fulfillment and release dates for the reboot of Warlord CCG.
Warlord CCG fans will have to wait a little bit longer to get their hands on new cards and sought-after reprints of older cards. Kingswood Games' efforts in fulfilling their Kickstarter and releasing the CCG into retail in Q1 2025 (see "Retail Preorder") have been thwarted by a production backlog forming in China factories as a result of the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday (see "New Lunar New Year "). Essentially, the company was racing against the oncoming holiday shutdown to get their print run done, but the samples sent to them from their manufacturer were not up to the quality expected. Rather than release a low quality product, they opted to submit revisions and push back the release dates instead.
The new projected fulfillment and release window for Warlord CCG will be between May 2025 and July 2025. The Kickstarter for this game, which raised $598,369 from 1,743 backers (about $343 per backer), ended in June 2025 (see "'Warlord: Saga of the Storm CCG' Reboot"). The projected fulfillment dates would put the project close to the post-one year mark, which seems to be the average fulfillment timeframe.
