Mad Cave Studios has announced the lineup of creators for its benefit anthology LA Strong: A Charity Comic for Victims of the LA Wildfires. Contributors will include Alberto Albuquerque, Brian Azzarello, Brian Michael Bendis, Geraldo Borges, Amy Chase, Ian Churchill, Amanda Conner, Alex Cormack, Paul Cornell, Rob DenBleyker, Dan DiDio, Melissa Flores, Christos Gage, Rian Gonzales, Sina Grace, Glenn Hauman, Jody Houser, Barbara Kessel, Daniel Kibblesmith, Sami Kivelä Salvador Larroca, Janet Lee, Nico Leon, Andrea Mutti, Michael Avon Oeming, Steve Orlando, Greg Pak, Jimmy Palmiotti, Stephanie Phillips, Alison Sampson, Frank Tieri, Amit Tishler, Christian Ward, Marv Wolfman, and Jennie Wood. The one-shot anthology, rated Teen+, will be released on March 19, 2025, with an MSRP of $9.99. Mad Cave has pledged that 100% of profits will be donated to relief efforts.
Mad Cave also contributed to a $45,000 match for donations to Binc, the Book Industry Charitable Foundation (see “California Fires: Binc Announces $45,000 Matching Gift from Dav Pilkey, Mad Cave, Others”).
