After announcing the July release date at GAMA Expo 2025 (see "'Godzilla' Card Game Gets a Release Date"), Bushiroad followed up by releasing more booster set information and announcing two starter decks. The set will contain 80 types of cards and Rage cards. There will be 30 commons, 22 uncommons, 18 rares, 10 super rares, and 6 Rage cards. Packs will contain 7 cards with 12 packs coming in a display; boxes retail for $54.00.

They also released more information on gameplay. It is a monsters versus the army game, where players can choose to control either side. Constructed decks are 54 cards and are color specific; players can use up to four of any card. In the first set, there will be Red, Blue, and White cards.

Bushiroad also introduced two starter decks for the game: Heisei Series and Godzilla Minus One. Each fixed deck contains 60 cards; starters come with the deck, a booster, a rules sheet, and a paper playmat. Starters will retail for $18.00 each.
