Back in January, WotC announced that they would be sending certain Secret Lairs into retail (see "'Secret Lair' Sales Through WPN Stores"). Recently, WotC released a cryptic announcement via their WPN site that one of these sets, which was also mechanically unique, was available via authorized distributors for preorder. The announcement also mentioned that this set featured a surprise Marvel character. The character was not mentioned by WotC because the product name is, thus far, unannounced. This product can be sold directly to customers or used as special event prizing upon release.
