Scarlet & Violet—Destined Rivals will put the infamous Team Rocket in the mix by adding 83 new Team Rocket cards. The set will also feature a popular Trainer's Pokemon mechanic with twist as well as heroic pairs, such as Ethan and Ho-Oh ex and Cynthia and Garchomp ex. There will be a total of 17 Pokemon ex and 10 Trainer's Pokemon ex. For collectors, the set will also offer up 23 Illustration Rare Pokemon, 11 Special Illustration Rare Pokemon, and 6 Hyper Rare Gold-etched cards.

The set will come in the usual product configurations, such as booster packs, Elite Trainer Boxes, and Collections. Prerelease events will occur starting May 17, 2025.
