ACEN is one of the premiere anime fan shows in the country. This show generally draws over 30,000 unique attendees over the course of three days and showcases what's hot in  manga, anime, gaming, and geek culture. ACEN continues its rebound after the show had a rough couple of years in 2023 and 2024, when the number of industry booths declined and the show had to instate new security policies due to a few incidents (see "Anime Central 2024 in Photos"). In general, this show never truly seemed to recover from its pre-pandemic era shows, but it still continues onward.
