Dynamic Forces (Dynamite Entertainment) has asked the court handling the Diamond Comic Distributors bankruptcy case to require payment of half a million dollars’ worth of product that the publisher states was shipped to, and sold by, Diamond after it filed for bankruptcy on January 14, 2025 (see “Diamond Files for Reorganization Under Chapter 11 Bankruptcy”).

According to the motion filed by Dynamite on May 27, Diamond has not paid the publisher for three invoices, submitted on April 27, May 4, and May 11, totaling $509,114.21.  The attached invoices list several high-profile titles, including the first issues of Captain Planet and Space Ghost/Jonny Quest: Space Quest.  The total also includes sales to the book channel and international sales. Dynamite is requesting attorneys’ fees in addition to payment of the monies owed.

In another document, filed on March 12, 2025, Dynamite stated that product had been ordered and paid for since January 14, so the non-payment of the three invoices from April and May appears to be a new issue.
