Wizards of the Coast announced updates to Gatherer, the card database for Magic: The Gathering.

The Gatherer card database has been basically the primary source for updated Oracle information (the most correct text on individual Magic cards) for over 20 years.  Anyone who has used Oracle on either a desktop or mobile device has undoubtedly noted how touchy the website is when it comes to loading information or images.  WotC has finally decided to remedy some of these issues by giving Gatherer a makeover, updating different features on the site.

The makeover will include visual changes to the website as well as updates to make it easier to use on a desktop, tablet, or phone.  The goal will be to make Gatherer feel more modern and cleaner to use.  Updates will be rolled out in phases, which will happen throughout 2025.
