This set follows up on the recently revealed Bolt Action: Band of Brothers Starter Set (see "'Bolt Action: Band of Brothers Starter Set'") by adding early WWII German forces to the mix. These forces were used during the "Blitzkrieg" invasions of France, Poland, and the Low Countries. The box comes with a complete German Heer force: 36 German infantry soldiers (plastic), a medium machine gun team (metal), a medium mortar team (metal), a light howitzer (metal), a Sd. Kfz. 251 half track (plastic), and a Panzer IV B/C/D medium tank (plastic). The set also includes assembly and painting instructions, stat cards, full-color decal sheets, vehicle damage markers, and plastic bases.
