Marvel Comics will release Predator: Badlands #1, a prequel to the story in the Predator: Badlands feature film, in November, around the release of the movie. The comic is being produced in collaboration with director Dan Trachtenberg, who is writing a foreword for the comic.
The comic will be written by Ethan Sacks, with art by Elvin Ching and inks by Orn Junio. The cover is by Juan Ferreyra, with a variant by Cafu, along with a movie variant cover. In the comic, a young Yautja warrior is tasked with retrieving a piece of technology from a crashed spaceship, but a deadly treat lies within.
The movie releases November 7 (see "’Predator: Badlands’ Trailer"); the comic will street November 12.
