Sponsored.  The Loop’s presence was felt everywhere on the Mälaren Islands. Our parents worked there.  Riksenergi’s service vehicles patrolled the roads and the skies.  Strange machines roamed the woods, the glades, and the meadows.  Whatever forces reigned deep below sent vibrations up through the bedrock, the flint lime bricks, and the Eternit facades – and into our living rooms.

In Tales From the Loop – The Board Game, 1–5 players take the roles of kids who investigate the mysteries originating from the Loop, a huge underground science facility with strange effects on the suburban landscapes around it.  But there’s still school, homework and chores that need your attention - when playing you have to balance the time spent investigating the anomalies and influence of the Loop with the time you need to take care of your everyday life as regular kids during the 1980s.

Tales From the Loop – The Board Game is a cooperative experience where all the players work together towards a common goal.  There are six unique scenarios in the core box, with each featuring a specific property of the Loop.  There is also the Mystery Islands mode where you get to discover your own mysteries and adventures!

The game features original art by Simon Stålenhag as well as expertly crafted, pre-assembled miniatures of the machines featured in the artwork.

Tales From the Loop – The Board Game is designed by Martin Takaichi and includes high-quality miniatures by Paolo Parente's Dust Studio.  All miniatures supplied unpainted.
