Set in the vampire-infested streets of World of Darkness Montreal, CHAPTERS is played over a story arc of more than 40 branching scenarios which will evolve based on individual playing styles.  Monstrous creatures from the dawn of time manipulate the world, with mortals suffering as ignorant victims and pawns in the conspiracies and feuds of vast secret organizations.  Players will begin the game by choosing to embody one of eight original playable vampire characters.  As a long-buried evil threatens to re-emerge from the underground, these young vampires must embark on an epic hunt through the city of black faith while tensions rise between opposing clans in the wake of a devastating and violent purge.

Vampire: The Masquerade – CHAPTERS is designed to be played more than once, with each new campaign offering a unique gaming experience as player decisions shape their custom adventures through advanced dialogue, deep investigation sequences and powerful tactical combat scenarios.  The game runs from a single spiral-bound storybook, with smaller pamphlets for each of more than sixty encounters and individual character sheets that manage dialogue trees, investigations and combat encounters.  In addition to gameplay decisions, unlocking content and characters as the game develops, players can also customize their experience with optional difficulty modifiers or incorporating additional expansion packs.

Vampire: The Masquerade – CHAPTERS is the third game from Thomas Filippi and Gary Paitre, two French designers who live in Montreal.  Designed for solo play or up to four players, it features 40 branching main scenarios and additional materials to be unlocked during play, over 100 NPCs, more than 1,000 cards and tokens, highly detailed miniatures and hundreds of illustrations by internationally renowned artists.

The game is a mature, visceral experience, intended for audiences 18 or older.
