Sponsored.  The wellsprings of Valhalla, a resource long warred over by the powerful Valkyrie.  Upon the discovery of a wellspring, the spark of battle is sure to follow.  A group of rogues plan a deadly ambush.  If successful, the mystical Wellsprings themselves may be forfeit.  Only an unlikely group of scouts stands between them and the most precious resource in all of Valhalla.

The Battle for the Wellspring Battle Box is a new offering for the Heroscape miniatures game and contains everything needed for two players to set up and begin "The Battle of All Time."  It includes 6 new highly detailed miniatures featuring 3 dastardly pirates, a noble wizard, and 2 familiars in a head-to-head clash!  This Battle Box contains 31 pieces of terrain tiles, 7 of which are a new terrain type exclusive to this box:  the Wellspring water!  This sparkly new terrain has its own magical properties and gameplay effects.  Wellspring water tiles can be added to any terrain setup.  Also included are 2 Laur Jungle Trees which players can add to their battlefields.  The Battle Box also contains the Glyph of Brandar: a magical glyph used in one of the four included scenarios.

In the Battle Box, we will meet Ewashia, Master of Tides - who has the ability to command the water around her, turning it into a devastating twister attack!  Further, Kita the Springrunner is an adorable creature that can Phantom Walk through other figures on the battlefield and avoid any attacks when disengaging from an enemy.

Then, there is Killian Vane III whose deadly aim and ranged attacks with the blunderbuss have a wide area of attack, forcing groups of enemies to fall back and out of line of sight!  Also included is Fia Bonny the Void Siren who, as a master of disguise, can avoid being targeted by enemies.

Everything in the Battle Box is compatible with all current and past releases of Heroscape.  Once you master the adventures within, use these components in larger battles with the upcoming Master Sets and various expansions!  Adventures in the world of Valhalla are potentially limitless!

The Battle for the Wellspring Battle Box, scheduled for release in August 2024, is for 2 players and plays in about one hour.  There will also be a Premium Painted Edition releasing simultaneously which includes the same contents as the standard edition, but with premium painted miniatures.  This Premium Painted Edition will not be available through distribution and can be ordered from the Renegade Retailer Store.  The Battle for All Time continues!  The gates are opening!  Will you be battle-ready?
