What is Rebirth
Rebirth's artwork is delightfully evocative of a wind-powered new dawn in a Celtic land.  Following a series of calamities that left civilization in shambles, societies around the world are being rebuilt anew in harmony with nature.  Scotland lies in ruins and the ancient clans have taken it upon themselves to restore the land.  As clan leaders you will compete for strategic control of the land by rebuilding its prestigious castles.

Each turn, players draw a tile from their supply and place it strategically on the board.  These tiles represent your clan’s contribution to rebuilding the land.  Rebirth rewards strategic foresight and clever tactical play, with tougher decisions emerging over the course of the game.

Multiple Game Modes
The game includes a double-sided game board.  One side depicts Scotland; the other Ireland.  Scotland offers the core game experience, while Ireland is an alternate map which introduces new mechanics.  For example, instead of Cathedrals (which offer private scoring goals), in Ireland you will build around Towers (which offer public scoring opportunities).  These 2 game modes allow for more gameplay variation and playability!

The maps printed on the game board come with unique illustrations for each castle and cathedral.  If you've been to Scotland or Ireland, you might even recognize some of them!

Sustainability
All 3D castles and cathedrals in Rebirth are made out of RE-Wood®.  This material offers the tactile feel of wood while allowing for intricate model design.  RE-Wood® is an ecological material made from waste-products from wood production.  It uses 80% shredded wood residue and 20% recycled binder and allows us to create mouldable 3D components without the use of plastics.

All cardboard materials in Rebirth are FSC© certified.  All raw materials used for the production of boxes, cards and other cardboard components come from sustainably managed forests.  Rebirth will not have a plastic tray.
