Greater Than Games has announced three new 2015 titles for its popular Sentinel Comics world of games:  Villains of the Multiverse, Sentinel Tactics: Broken City, and Sentinel Tactics: For Profit.

The Sentinels of the Multiverse cooperative comic book superhero card game, which had sold over 60,000 copies of the base game as of last August (see “'Wrath of the Universe'”), already includes several expansions. The Villains of the Multiverse expansion is a collection of 10 villains who work as part of a team, a mechanic introduces in Sentinels of the Multiverse: Vengeance.  The expansion also includes two new environments which can be used in any Sentinels of the Multiverse base game.  MSRP is $29.95.

Sentinel Tactics: Broken City is a new standalone game which uses the Sentinel Tactics system; Sentinel Tactics: The Flame of Freedom is a standalone dice-based tactical combat game set in the same universe as Sentinels of the Multiverse (see “'Sentinel Tactics: The Flame of Freedom' and Miniatures”).  Broken City can be played by itself, or combined with the Sentinel Tactics: The Flame of Freedom and Uprising games.  The game includes new playable characters, map tiles, and scenario books.  MSRP is $39.95.

Sentinel Tactics: For Profit is an expansion which is usable for either The Flame of Freedom or Broken City base games.  MSRP is $19.95.

The game announcement came as part of a direct preorder solicitation for fans.  Trade release dates for each game have not been finalized.  “I'm, unfortunately, unable to be more specific with release dates,” Greater Than Games Craig McRoberts told ICv2. “As is standard for our preorders and Kickstarter projects, our products are currently in development.  Playtesting is a difficult thing to predict, so we prefer to plan later, with the chance of being early, than the other way around.”
