Humanoids has announced two titles for release in July: Sanctum Genesis and Armies.

First is a trade paperback of Armies by Jean-Pierre Dionnet, Picaret, and Jean-Claude Gal.  Originally debuting in France and then in English hardcover in 2013, Armies is a collection of stories from one of France's greatest comic writers and co-founder of Metal Hurlant.  The 184-page softcover is full color and will be available on July 5.  Armies retails for $19.95.

Next up is an English language collection of the French multivolume Sanctuaire Genesis.  Written by Chistophe Bec and Philippe Thirault with art by Stefano Raffaele, Sanctum Genesis is a prequel to Sanctum (see “A New Tome for the 'Metabaron' and an Undersea Thriller”).  In this earlier adventure cast in Syria in 1934, Nazi soldiers unearth a major archaeological discovery that will hold greater threats than they can imagine as they unleash the primordial god Mot on the world.  The 112-page, full color hardcover will be available on July 19 and retail for $19.95.
