Top Shelf Productions has announced a pair of graphic novels from new talent for release in September.

Tara O’Connor tells her personal story of self-discovery and finding love in Roots, a graphic novel built around her journey to Ireland to unearth her family’s ancestry. The 176-page black-and-white softcover has an MSRP is $19.99.

Australian cartoonist Chris Gooch examines Millennial alienation in Bottled, a graphic novel tinged with body horror and Greek tragedy. Jane is sick of her dead-end life, and she’s prepared to conscript her friend Natalie’s help in escaping whether Natalie wants to help or not. The 288-page, two-color softcover has an MSRP of $19.99.

These releases come on the heels of Top Shelf’s summer titles, including Surfside Girls (see “'Surfside Girls' Debuts for Summer”) and Shannon Wheeler’s takedown of our Tweeter in Chief, Sh*t My President Says: The Illustrated Tweets of Donald J. Trump (see “'Sh*T My President Says'”).
