Space Goat Productions has assembled a group of 15 retailers to provide advice and counsel to the publisher, which produces both comics (see “Space Goat Acquires Rights to ‘The Howling’”) and games (see “The Past and Future Collide in ‘Terminator Board Game’”).  The retailer advisory group, which Space Goat calls ‘The Goat Herd,’ will receive perks in recognition of their support, including access to works in progress, deep discounts and free shipping on direct orders (above minimums), group exclusive variants, ads in comics, mini-comic previews of every new #1 issue, and customized digital marketing materials.

Space Goat is committing to follow the retailer advice it gets, according to Space Goat Publisher Shon Bury.  “[W]e re committed to acting on what we learn from our conversations with the folks on the front line of the daily effort to deliver great content to readers,” he said.

Participating retailers include Chris Brady of 4-Color Fantasies in Rancho Cucamonga, California, and Wayne Winsett of Time Warp Comics in Boulder, Colorado.
