DC Entertainment announced two new ‘Justice League’ titles and a new team on Teen Titans at their panel at WonderCon in Anaheim this weekend, and shared character sketches from Justice League Dark, one of the newly announced titles, interior art from d, the logo for new Mad magazine, and more.
The two new Justice League titles will both debut in June with new team rosters: Justice League Dark, written by James Tynion IV with art by Alvaro Martinez, Raul Fernandez (inks), and Brad Anderson (colors); and Justice league Odyssey, written by Joshua Wiliamson with art by Stjepan Sejic. The two new Justice League titles will join the core biweekly Justice League title written by Scott Snyder, with art by Jim Cheung and Jorge Jimenez, also launching in (see “’Justice League’ Relaunches in June”).
The panelists shared cover art for the two new Justice League titles and character sketches for Justice League Dark, along with covers for Justice League No Justice #4 and Justice League #3.
Teen Titans will go through some changes, the panelists said, with TV writer Adam Glass (Supernatural, Criminal Minds: Beyond borders) and artist Bernard Chang taking over as the creative team with issue #20. New characters will be added to the roster, including Lobo.
Also shared as part of the reveal were interior pages to the new Sandman Universe title debuting from Vertigo (see “‘The Sandman’ Returns to Vertigo”), and the new Mad logo on the cover to the first relaunched issue.
