CMON announced Cyberpunk 2077 - Afterlife: The Card Game, under a license from CD PROJEKT RED. This new card game was created by award-winning designer, Eric M.Lang and Andrea Chiarvesio (see "CMON Unveils 'Ankh'").

In Cyberpunk 2077 - Afterlife: The Card Game, players play the roles of Fixers; within Night City, Fixers recruit cyberpunks, equip them with gear, and assign them missions. Utilizing a draft mechanic and special dashboard, players will have to balance what they want and what they can afford. A player’s Street Cred is raised by each successful mission. Cyberpunks that survive the mission become Veterans and help influence newer recruits.

“I grew up playing the RPG and have kept up with the franchise through the years. Andrea Chiarvesio and I were beyond thrilled to work on it,” said Eric M. Lang, CMON’s Director of Game Design.

Cyberpunk 2077 - Afterlife: The Card Game will be released in 2020. MSRP has not been announced at this time.

A new edition of the Cyberpunk roleplaying game was announced this past May (see “‘Cyberpunk Red Jumpstart Kit’”).
