The new set also topped the chart last month (with sales before release, see "TCGplayer Top 25 – July"), but this month the price escalated to above its July 1 price. Pokemon TCG took the top three slots, four of the top five, six of the top ten, and 11 of the top 25 slots, an impressive performance.
The bestselling Magic: The Gathering product was in the #10 slot, and unusually weak performance for the hobby channel favorite. The first general release MetaZoo product (see "Steve Aoki Becomes Partner in MetaZoo") cracked the Top 10, in the first appearance for the new game, at #7.
The Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG took the only non-Pokemon top five slot, and three slots overall. Dragon Ball Super had a product at #8, and two overall. Digimon had one product on the chart.
