Ron Perelman has retired 81% of an estimated 770 million dollar bond issue that was backed by nearly 50% of his Revlon stock.

Marvel announced a major promotional campaign for the X-Men in which consumers who order a 'Big Kids' meal at Burger King between Dec. 31, 2001 and Jan. 28, 2002, will receive both a figure and a CD-Rom featuring a character from the X-Men Evolution television series.

Universal has set June 20, 2003 for the release of The Hulk , the film based on the classic Marvel comic series. Famed director Ang Lee ( Crouching Tiger ) will direct The Hulk from a screenplay by Lee's long time collaborator James Schamus.
