In just seventeen days Fox’s raunchy, R-rated, fourth wall-breaking superhero saga Deadpool , which cost just $58 million to produce, has earned $609.3 million worldwide. So it is no surprise to learn that Hollywood already has a number of other R-rated superhero projects in the works.

This week’s home entertainment offerings include one of the best boxing movies in years, Oscar contenders, The Danish Girl and Room , plus the excellent Cold War drama The Americans , the underrated crime drama Legend , as well as the long-awaited Blu-ray debut of the Death Note anime and the return of the long out-of-print Zeta Gundam series.

Fox’s R-rated, fourth wall-breaking, superhero spoof/saga Deadpool easily took the box office crown for the third weekend in row, earning an estimated $31.5 million to bring its domestic total to $285.6 million, sending the $140 million sword and sandal epic Gods of Egypt scurrying back to its giant stone tomb.
