Strong sales of the latest Dog Man book, the Heartstopper series and the newest Baby-Sitters Little Sister gave the August chart a shot in the arm.

Pokemon TCG: Obsidian Flames climbed to the top of the August 2023 TCGplayer Top 25 Sealed Products chart, which ranks the most active products on the platform by dollar volume, showing the beginning and ending prices of each product. This market action revealed some new insights and trends developing in the TCG market.

WizKids is set to explore 1930s America with a new board game titled Trail Story: America.

Trick or Treat Studios will release a Halloween: Miniatures Set, which will hit retail stores.

Several of the books in the Top 20 got a boost from streaming, and one probably benefited from the release of the second volume in the series.

Year over year sales are down for the Kids Top 20, but not as sharply as they are for the adult chart.
