Comic Images, which has had considerable success with its WWE Raw Deal Collectible Card Game, has acquired the U.S. and Canadian distribution rights for the Myths & Legends CCG created by the Chilean publisher Salo.  Salo had originally made a distribution deal with Genio, but Genio recently ceased operations (see 'Genio Shuts Down').  In taking over distribution of the Myths & Legends CCG, which has enjoyed considerable success in both South America and Europe, Comic Images has indicated its plans to launch the game with a distributor/retailer program that is essentially risk free.  Comic Images will present its retail and distribution plans to the trade at GAMA, and will introduce the game to consumers at Origins.

Drawing on mythological traditions from all over the world, Myths & Legends has an extraordinary range of themes and characters, which have been developed in a number of expansions since the game was originally introduced in Chile in 2000 (see 'Myths & Legends CCG').
