Tim Burton has signed with Disney to produce and direct two 3-D films.  First up is Alice in Wonderland as scripted by Linda Woolverton (Lion King, Beauty and the Beast), which will start shooting in live action and performance capture early next year to wrap by May. 

Burton's next Disney film will be a full-length, stop-motion version of Frankenweenie, a 1984 short for which he was fired by Disney.
