Ad Specifications

Online specifications for ICv2 Site Sponsorships:

 

Due date:

Two business days before the ad is scheduled to start.

 

Display ads:

  • All display ads may be in GIF, JPG, or Flash* formats
  • Please provide linking destination URLs for all ads
  • All display ads have a file weight limit of 50Kb for GIFs or JPGs, 100Kb for Flash
(*) Flash Specifications:
  • All Flash creatives need to be set up properly for click tracking (i.e., clickTag encoded).
  • A backup GIF or JPG file and clickthrough URL must be also be submitted.  This may be used in place of Flash, if SWF is incorrectly built at time of the campaign launch.
(1)  Top Sponsorship: Leaderboard -- 728 x 90 pixels

 

(2 Side Sponsorship #1:  3:1 Rectangle -- 300 x 100 pixels

 

(3)  Medium Rectangle -- 300 x 250 pixels

           

(4)  Side Sponsorship #2: Vertical banner -- 120 x 240 pixels

           

(5 Bargain Banner: Vertical banner (bottom) -- 120 x 240 pixels

 

Recommendations:

Animation, use of images, addressing your audience (for example, by using the word "retailers" as a text element in ads), and the use of promotional elements (e.g., "Click here for your free promo kit") will all increase your response.

 

E-mail text ads:

E-mail text ads come free with Top Sponsorship, Side Sponsorship #1, and Side Sponsorship #2, or may be purchased separately.  The text ads consist of:

  • Headline
  • 5-6 lines of snappy copy
  • Destination URL
