4Kids Entertainment reported its Q3 results after the close Thursday; the company lost $256,000 in the period. Revenues declined around $2 million from the year ago period, to $17.6 million.
Declines in revenues from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles continued, although the scheduled release of the TMNT CGI feature on March 23rd will kick the license up again.
Yu Gi Oh, after a pause in Q2 (see '4Kids Q2 Revenue Drops'), continued its decline from earlier this year (see 'YGO and TMNT Continue Slide').
According to a statement by CEO Al Kahn, 2007 is expected to be better, with the release of the Chaotic TCG, now scheduled for 'late spring,' and Viva Pinata, based on the Microsoft videogame property, beginning to generate significant revenues.
