Andy Battaglia of Comics Etc. in Rochester, New York saw retailer Jerry Ringi's comments on Marvel's upcoming 411 series (see 'Jerry Ringi of Amazing Fantasy on 411') and sent this comment supporting Marvel's efforts.

I was amazed at the comments of Jerry Ringi about Marvel's 411 series. Why does a book offering peaceful solutions in a violent world seem so offensive to Mr. Ringi?  I congratulate Marvel for trying a project like this. Alternative points of view do deserve a voice and as a parent of five children, I do hope they can live in a world where solutions other than violence are accepted.  I will be carrying the 411 comic and if Mr. Ringi's customers can't get it from him, I would be more than happy to supply the book to them.
