The CW unveiled its line-up for the 2014-15 season, and has picked up The Flash and Rob Thomas’ iZombie, according to THR.
The Arrow spinoff The Flash was hardly a surprise, after the introduction and build-up it received from its DC sister series (see "Full 'Flash' Costume Revealed").
The iZombie show will be a departure from the comic source material, Thomas explained back in March (see "'iZombie' TV Series to Differ From Comic"). The story of a medical student-turned-zombie will be more of a police procedural /crime solving show than a zombie apocalypse.
So with the recent confirmation that Gotham has been ordered to series on Fox (see "First 'Gotham' Trailer"), and NBC adding Constantine (see "'Constantine' to Series"), DC series will be proliferating on the small screen in the drama category this fall.
