Viz Media is now the North American master licensee for Accel World, a Sunrise anime based on the light novel by Reki Kawahara.  Viz’s rights now include both video for all channels and merchandise rights. 

Viz has been streaming Accel World on the Neon Alley channel for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 as well as on its own site. 

The story, set in 2046, is of a miserable young boy who’s introduced to the virtual reality called Accel World by the most popular girl in school.
