TV Guide has revealed that another DC Comics character will make an appearance in the seventh season of Smallville, which debuts next fall on the CW network. Kara has abilities that Clark is yet to develop -- she breaks the 'no tights no flights' rule by soaring into the sky and blithely explains to Clark, 'obviously girls mature faster than boys,' and she also functions as something of a familial anchor for Clark, who has lost his adopted father and remains in Smallville while his adopted mother heads to Washington DC as a U.S. Senator.
